The regularly scheduled Board meeting for July 28, 2010 has been cancelled. The August Board meeting
will be held on August 25 at District headquarters 1295 E. Locust St., Ont., CA 91761.

West Valley MVCD now accepting applications

West Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District is currently accepting applications for the position of Seasonal Vector Control Assistant. This position is one of seasonal field work in vector control and work performed will be closely supervised.

A complete job description along with the employment application may be downloaded.

Applicant must have a valid California Driver’s license, Class III and must be insurable by the District’s insurance policy. Applicant must be willing to complete a background investigation. Graduation from high school or equivalent combination of experience and training necessary. College courses in general biology or related field preferred.
